In this seminar, we highlight various perspectives on diversity—both as a structural challenge and as a personal experience within artistic practice.

Eivind Breilid addresses why the cultural sector still does not reflect society’s diversity, despite broad ambitions for equality and representation. What hinders change, and what is needed to break down these barriers?

Siri Jøntvedt, a dance artist with over 35 years of experience, shares personal reflections on the body, aging, endurance, and sustaining a creative career over time. With warmth and humor, she highlights the value of considering diversity through the lens of life course and bodily experiences.

The seminar concludes with a presentation by Carina Møller from Globale Kristiansund, who will speak about their work on inclusion and community across cultures—both locally and globally.
